The Austin City Brass Ensemble is an outstanding group of musician dedicated to inspiring and educating audiences through the spirited medium of brass. The ensemble has a repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary masterpieces. Its members are professional musicians who hold positions with the Austin Symphony, Austin Lyric Opera, The University of Texas music faculty, Texas A&M Kingsville music faculty, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra, and the Austin Chamber Music Center. With such an esteemed group of musicians, an Austin City Brass Ensemble concert is an exhilarating and compelling statement for the arts in our culture.

Our Audience – Patrons of the Austin City Brass Ensemble are classical music lovers and performing arts supporters who are active in the community. After it’s first performance in August 2006, the ensemble has gained a steady following of music lovers.

Attendance – Approximately 200 classical music lovers from the Austin area and beyond attended the inaugural concert of the Austin City Brass Ensemble. The attendance is expected to be no less than 500 for the upcoming performance by the group.

Education – Last year, the Austin City Brass Ensemble reached over 400 high school level students through educational concerts and intends to reach far more in the years to come.

All artwork (see Mechanicals/Specifications below) must fit within the specified dimensions, or may be reduced or enlarged as appropriate, with a possible loss of quality.

Deadlines
Commitments submitted: May16, 2008
Ads to be designed (content & artwork): May 23, 2008
Negatives, digital files, & camera-ready: June 1, 2008

Mechanicals/Specifications
Black & White
100% B&W negatives (include paper proof), or digital B&W electronic files either in tif, jpg, or Adobe Acrobat PDF formats only. Resolution must be 150 pixels per inch. Camera-ready ads must be in crisp black and white format at actual size to be inserted. Note that camera-ready ads will be scanned and print quality is not guaranteed.

Payment and Prices
All rates are net as published and no discounts will be provided. All orders must be accompanied by payment in full, with checks payable to Austin City Brass.
